At the center of this narrative stands, the founder’s father was a man whose life embodied the virtues of courage, love, and determination.

As a proud husband and dad of three, he carried an unyielding commitment to his family's well-being. Lee’s journey began as a successful business owner, where his entrepreneurial spirit flourished, and his dedication to hard work shaped his values. However, Lee's ambitions surpassed mere personal achievements. Recognizing the struggles faced by the growing Korean community in Gwinnett, Georgia, he took a leap of faith and devoted his entire life savings to establish a legal police force—the Korean Community Police Patrol.

This selfless act aimed to bridge the language barriers and provide vital emergency response services to a community in need. Lee's groundbreaking efforts brought hope, safety, and security to his fellow community members, forever changing the landscape of their lives.Yet, as life often presents its challenges, Lee faced an unexpected twist in his journey.

After 15 years of running the police force, he received a devastating diagnosis of liver and pancreatic cancer. During his difficult battle, he was surrounded by the love and support of his family, cherishing every moment together until his last days. It was during this time that his wife and eldest daughter, Jin, took on the role of primary caregivers, providing comfort and care to their beloved husband and father.

Tragically, shortly after  Lee's passing, life dealt another cruel blow to the family. The wife of Lee, Yeon Lee, underwent heart surgery, only to face a one-in-a-million chance outcome—paralysis from the waist down. Suddenly, she found herself in need of round-the-clock care and support, a stark contrast to her once vibrant and active life.

As a widow and now a paralyzed individual,Mrs. Lee faced new challenges that required professional caregiving services, including specialized care for bedsores, infections, feedings, and cleanliness. Her devoted granddaughter also played a significant role as a weekend caregiver, extending her love and support to her grandmother.

Motivated by these profound personal experiences and the desire to prevent other families from enduring similar traumas, the family channeled their hardships into a mission to provide the highest standard of care. They established Lee Home Care to ensure that each individual receives the highest quality of care, enabling them to live their lives with dignity, comfort, and a sense of belonging.The story of the Lees is one of triumph over adversity, turning personal struggles into a profound mission of compassion.
